Polish cableco Multimedia Polska has pushed back the deadline for first round bids by two weeks from 7 September to 21 September, reports Euroweek. The operator has drawn interest from private equity firms Permira and Cinven as well as US-backed cable operator UPC Poland, a subsidiary of Liberty Global. There is reportedly a fourth entity also considering entering a bid, though no details have yet been confirmed. According to Reuters, Multimedia is worth an estimated EUR800 million (USD982.9 million).
