The Costa Rican government has announced plans to move management of the telecommunications sector from the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Telecommunication (Minaet) to the Ministry of Science and Technology (Micit) by January 2013. El Financiero reports that the administration of the sector has a ‘more natural’ link with the Micit.
