Orange Dominicana has launched the first Long Term Evolution (LTE) 4G cellular network in the Dominican Republic. The new technology is available in the capital Santo Domingo, offering peak mobile internet browsing speeds of up to 100Mbps. The firm, which is part of the France Telecom-Orange group, says it has invested more than USD150 million to expand and upgrade its network, Dominican Today reports.
