Vodacom looking at Sierra Leone investment

The African telecoms group Vodacom has said it is interested in entering the market in Sierra Leone after holding ‘fruitful’ business discussions with representatives from the government, telecoms regulator NATCOM and other parties including banks. A report from local newspaper Awareness Times said that Vodacom’s chief executive Vuyani Jarana ‘expressed delight over the many business opportunities available in the country’.
