Denmark’s Competition Council has approved a plan by local service providers Telenor and Telia to share their 2G, 3G and 4G wireless network infrastructure, Telecompaper reports. Under the terms of the deal, which was first announced in June 2011, the two telcos will establish a common infrastructure company to operate a joint radio access network. The agreement does not cover core networks, and the two firms will continue to compete on services.
