T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT), Croatia’s largest telecoms group, has announced audited results for the year ended 31 December 2011. Consolidated revenues were down 3.6% to HRK8.067 billion (USD1.498 billion), as results continued to be impacted by ‘deep recession, regulatory tightening and special tax [on Croatian mobile services]’, the telco said in a statement. These negative factors were partly offset by improved performance in IP-based services, T-HT added. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was slightly below 2010’s level at HRK3.619 billion (HRK3.662 billion), and net profit fell by 1.1% to HRK1.811 billion. Croatian mobile subscribers decreased by 1.9% in the year, while ADSL lines in service increased by 2.9%, and pay-TV customers grew by 12.3%, to 321,000.
