7 Sep 2011

Japanese cellco Softbank Mobile added a net 239,000 new users last month for a total of 26.62 million by 31 August, once again beating its main rivals NTT DoCoMo and KDDI. DoCoMo could only muster 182,000 net additions for a total of 58.79 million subscribers, while KDDI added 73,000 lines for a month-end total of 33.53 million.
