Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo yesterday increased its shareholding in Filipino fixed line and cellular operator Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT). In a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange, DoCoMo reported that following the transaction, it now holds 20.8% of PLDT’s stock, up from 16.52% in March.
