Israeli mobile trio submit bids for MIRS

All three of Israel’s mobile network operators are now confirmed as having placed bids in the sale process for Motrola Israel’s iDEN subsidiary MIRS Communications, according to Reuters. Market leader Cellcom, Bezeq subsidiary Pelephone and third-placed Partner Communications have all submitted offers for MIRS, which according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database had a 5.03% market share at end-June 2009. No financial details of any of the bids have been revealed.
