India’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, Bharti Airtel, will complete the integration of its West Bengal and Orissa operations by the end of May, the Business Standard reports. The process was started only last month, and Bharti hopes that it will bring an increased uniformity to its services on offer in the two circles; the cellco says that the customer profiles for the two regions are very similar. As part of the reorganisation Deepak Shrivastava will serve as the COO for the combined operations, and some employees have been redeployed to work in Bharti units in other circles across the country, including Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
