NTT DoCoMo has completed the acquisition of 26% of the common shares of Tata Teleservices (TTSL). The Japanese giant snapped up 20% of the Indian company through the issuance of new shares and bought a 6% stake from existing shareholders in line with an accord signed in November 2008. Three DoCoMo directors will be named to join the TTSL board.
