DoCoMo cuts interconnection fees

Japan’s leading mobile operator by subscribers NTT DoCoMo has notified the regulator the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), that the fees it charges other operators to interconnect with its mobile networks have been cut by more than 10%, effective immediately and applied retroactively to all interconnections made since 1 April 2008.
