Reuters reports that Indonesia’s second-largest mobile operator by subscribers Indosat signed up 7.9 million new subscribers in the first six months of this year, increasing its customer base by 32% from the end of 2007 to 32.4 million at the end of June 2008. The cellco had previously targeted eight million new additions in full-year 2008.
