Portugal’s state-owned oil company Sonangol is reported to be eyeing stakes in two of the country’s largest telcos, Portugal Telecom (PT) and PT Multimedia (PTM), Thomson Financial reports quoting local newspaper Diario Economico. PT is Portugal’s dominant wireline and wireless operator, while PTM – which was spun off from PT last year – is the country’s largest cable network operator.
