Alca-Lu rolls out Bouygues’s 3G/HSPA network

Alcatel-Lucent is rolling out a 3G/HSPA network for Bouygues Telecom in four of cellco’s six operational regions in France. Under the five-year frame agreement, the French vendor will be responsible for the installation and deployment of UMTS/HSPA technology, including its Alcatel-Lucent Radio Access Network solution, management and associated installation services. The 3G network being installed by Alca-Lu covers the West, South West, North East and Mediterranean regions.
