Russian firm to target remote areas

According to Russian news site CNews, a Russian owned firm ByCell is planning to roll out wireless networks across remote areas of India. The company plans to acquire universal access service (UAS) licences for five circles (Assam, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal, and North-West) and anticipates investing USD500 million.
