According to Thomson Financial, Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) has struck a deal to exchange its 24.51% stake in Taiwanese fixed line operator New Century InfoComm Tech Company (NCIC), for a 3.97% equity stake in mobile phone operator Far EasTone Telecommunications. The transaction is expected to be completed in December, subject to regulatory approvals.
