Unity unifies

23 May 2007

German cableco Unity Media has decided to drop its existing regional brands ish and iesy in Hessen and North Rhine Westphalia respectively, and Tele Columbus West, which exists in both states. Instead, the 4.9 million households in both states which currently take an ish, iesy or Tele Columbus West service will become customers of Unitymedia. The new brand is to be launched on 5 June, and offer new triple-play bundles of telephony, up to 6Mbps internet access and digital TV starting from EUR30 (USD40) per month.
