Elisa has said it will begin charging its residential wireless customers a EUR0.049 connection fee for every call made, from the start of March. The new fee will come on top of the regular per-minute rate. Elisa said the move would support further investment and encourage customers to switch to 3G monthly call package subscriptions. The fee will not apply to 3G packages, to corporate subscribers, or to customers of its Kolumbus unit.
