The Filipino telecoms regulator the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has granted voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) licences to local firms BC Net and Broadband2Go Communications, enabling them to begin offering internet call services. The awards bring the total number of VoIP licensees and resellers to 14. According to INQ7.net, the other licensed resellers are: TransPacific Broadcast Group International, Mozcom, and KD Pacific Trading Development Corp. The VoIP providers are Cashround, TechNetworks Corp, Crown Multimedia and Information Service Corp, BT&T Network Corp, Vonics Philippines, Pacific Netcom, Pastels, Fiber Telecommunications, and Textron Corp.
