State run Indian telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has cut the monthly rental fee of its fixed line One India Plan from INR225 (USD5) to INR180, and doubled the number of inclusive free calls to 50 per month. The telco has also cut call rates by between 16% and 58% per minute as part of plans to increase fixed line take-up in the face of increasing competition from mobile and VoIP service providers.
