The Philippines’ telecoms regulator, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), has added a new frequency band for broadband wireless access services, according to reports from INQ7.net. The NTC plans to offer the 410MHz – 430MHz band for such services, adding it to the list of allocated frequencies already cited in an earlier directive under memorandum circular 06-08-2005. The complete list of frequency bands are: 450MHz – 470MHz; 1900MHz – 1910MHz; 1980MHz – 1990MHz; 2400MHz – 2483MHz; 2500MHz – 2700MHz; 3400MHz – 3600MHz; 5150MHz – 5350MHz; 5470MHz – 5850MHz; and 10150MHz – 10650MHz.
