Japanese mobile operator Vodafone KK (Softbank Mobile) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with High Tech Computer Corp (HTC) to collaborate on the development of 3G PDA Phones in Japan. The pair believe that by selling advanced 3G PDA Phones manufactured by HTC, Vodafone KK will gain a stronger foothold in the Japanese market.
