Croatian alternative fixed line operator Optima Telekom has reported that its telephony subscriber base reached 115,000 early this month, up from 70,000 in February, and 35,000 at the end of last year. TeleGeography’s GlobalComms notes that Optima launched residential carrier pre-selection services in June 2005, a trial ADSL2+ service for businesses in August, and has been lobbying to accelerate local loop unbundling to allow it to offer unbundled broadband lines across the country.
