Stockholm’s District Court has ruled that Swedish telecoms group Tele2 must pay over EUR107 million (USD136 million), plus interest, to rival Nordic operator TeliaSonera, based on a decision of the country’s telecoms regulator, Post & Telestyrelsen (PTS), in 2001 concerning fees that Tele2 must pay for calls initiated in its network and terminated in TeliaSonera’s fixed and mobile networks.
