Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile Austria subsidiary is guaranteeing the jobs of employees at its recently acquired Austrian business tele.ring until the end of June 2006, according to people familiar with the situation. The company is currently holding talks with trade unions over staffing levels and sources close to the discussions confirm that the job guarantee extends to T-Mobile Austria’s own employees. The two operators employ a total workforce of around 2,200 people.
