Brasil Telecom GSM, the mobile arm of fixed line telco Brasil Telecom, has selected wireless messaging and mobile software platform Intellisync to be its mobile platform provider for mobile email and business services. The deal will enable Brasil Telecom GSM to provide its subscribers with wireless push email and personal information management (PIM) synchronisation. Brasil Telecom launched services ten months ago and today has a customer base of 1.5 million.
