Romanian regulator the National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) yesterday launched a public tender for the installation and operation of public telecentres in 40 rural areas, as part of its plan to extend universal communications services to the whole country. Each telecentre must offer at least two public payphones, two computers with internet access and a fax machine, and must operate for a minimum of three years.
