NTT launches W-LAN in Philippines

Japanese operator NTT Communications has expanded its HotSpot public wireless local area network (W-LAN) connection to the Philippines. The operator has struck a roaming deal with ePLDT, the internet arm of national PTO Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), enabling NTT’s hotspot customers to connect to the internet via 180 W-LAN access points in the Philippines.
