French telco Bouygues Telecom saw revenues of EUR2,187 million in the first half of the year, up 25% from EUR1,755 million in the same period last year. On a comparative basis, taking into account changes to billing methods, sales were actually up 9% year-on-year. Data services accounted for 16.4% of network revenues, compared with 14.7% in the first half of 2004, with the rise attributed partly to the continuing popularity of i-mode mobile internet services. The company had 1.23 million i-mode customers at the end of July in its total customer base of around 7.5 million.
