KPN of the Netherlands has completed a deal to take over 60,000 Dutch broadband internet subscribers from the Italy-based ISP Tiscali. KPN says the customers were already using KPN’s networks via its wholesale deal with Tiscali. The ISP is concentrating its efforts on signing up broadband users over its own networks rather than relying on resale deals with third parties such as KPN. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
