Nepal Telecom to launch CDMA network

Nepal Telecom is set to launch a 100,000 line CDMA network in the capital Kathmandu as part of its strategy to launch a national network with a capacity for a million users. Under the first phase of rollout 207 base stations will be installed in the capital, Biratnager in eastern Nepal and Bhairahwa in the west of the country.
