Korea’s SK Telecom (SKT) has confirmed recent reports that it held talks with India’s Tata Teleservices, but has denied that it was planning to buy a 33% stake in the operator. SKT says it has been in discussion with Tata as part of ongoing research into the Indian market related to its long-standing interest in expanding there.
