TEM won’t stop ‘til it gets enough

14 Jun 2005

Telefónica Móviles’ (TEM) Colombian arm has announced that it will invest USD300 million this year as part of its plan to increase its customer base, improve its service quality and expand its range of mobile features. The move brings TEM’s total investment in the country to USD1.4 billion since acquiring BellSouth Colombia in October 2004 and re-launching services under the Movistar brand name. At the end of May the company reported 4.6 million Movistar Colombia users.
