Indian cellco Bharti Tele-Ventures, operating under the AirTel brand, has extended GSM services to the North East & Assam region, making it the first mobile operator in the country to have a presence in all 23 of India’s circles. AirTel’s network infrastructure in the region has been deployed by Ericsson.
