New MMS virus spreading

A new mobile phone virus, which spreads via multimedia messages containing photos or sounds, has been detected. The virus – called Commwarrior.A – replicates itself by sending multimedia messages to people on a mobile phone contact list or via Bluetooth. The world’s first mobile phone virus, Cabir, could only spread via Bluetooth, and its reach was more limited. The Commwarrior. A virus has targeted Symbian’s Series 60 phone operating software.
