New Chilean ISP Telemag, launched in December 2004, is planning to start offering a broadband service to the country’s southern region of Magallanes by the end of next month. The company says it has invested USD2 million in the service, named Magnet, which includes wireless connections and extends to a section of Antarctica, beyond the southernmost tip of Chile.
