T-Mobile Germany has selected Ericsson to replace 10,000 of its existing GSM radio base stations. Under the terms of the deal Ericsson will replace the network equipment by installing and integrating the latest GSM/GPRS technology. The replacement scheme is due to begin by the end of January and will be completed by the start of 2008. The value of the contract has not been revealed.
