South Korean equipment supplier LG Electronics has revealed plans to set up a new mobile handset plant in Pune in India, in a bid to boost its revenue from Indian operations to USD10 billion by 2010. The company has just completed a USD52 million home appliance plant in Pune and says it will invest a total of around USD150 million in its Indian operations by 2007.
