VTR expects LAN use to rise

Chilean telco VTR expects 15% of its residential internet clients to have implemented local area networks (LANs) by year end 2005, compared to the current figure of 10%. According to VTR’s estimates the Chilean broadband market should grow to 500,000 customers by the end of 2005, of which 400,000 would be residential.
