Wanadoo Netherlands plans to build out its own broadband network because it feels that fixed line incumbent KPN charges too much for the use of its infrastructure, according to Het Financielle Dagblad. The ISP says construction will start in Randstad early next year, with a view to covering of 55% of the population. Wanadoo’s announcement comes hot on the heels of its rival Tiscali’s announcement that it was building out its own network.
