Russian operator Multiregional TransitTelecom (MTT) has contracted Tecnomen to deliver and install its Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC) and WAP Gateway solutions. MTT offers nationwide transit services to 124 mobile operators and 65 wireline operators. According to MTT, it chose Tecnomen for the contract because its MMSC solution makes it possible for multiple virtual MMSCs to operate on a single platform.
