Canada’s number two telco, Telus Corp, has extended its CAD1.1 billion (USD810 million) offer for Microcell Telecommunications until 22 July, after several investors failed to tender their shares. Telus faces competition for Microcell from the likes of Rogers Wireless Communications and Bell Canada.
