Bermuda Digital Communications (BDC) has contracted US equipment maker Lucent Technologies to deploy a new mobile data network based on CDMA2000 1xEV-DO technology. BDC is Bermuda’s largest cellco and operates a CDMA2000 1X network under the banner CellularOne. Under the latest deal, Commnet Supply, a Lucent Business Partner, will deliver, install and maintain the new data network.
