Limited mobility PAS wireless service provider Cityphone, a joint venture between Hanoi Post and Telecom (Hanoi Telecom) and US-based UTStarcom, has officially launched nationwide services a year after it introduced pilot services in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Cityphone claims to have signed up more than 86,000 subscribers to date, of which 54,000 are in Ho Chi Minh City, and is adding around 150-200 new users per day.
