mmO2’s Irish division has launched commercial 3G services in the cities of Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford and Kilkenny, covering around 35% of the population. The cellco said it will increase coverage dramatically during 2004 when 3G handsets become more widely available.
