The trustee appointed to handle the shares in German mobile reseller mobilcom held by former CEO Gerhard Schmid and his wife, announced yesterday that the 42.42% shareholding has been sold. Professor Helmut Thoma said that the stake fetched a total of EUR44 million, which will go directly into mobilcom’s operating cashflow, but refused to divulge the name of the buyer.
