Samsung, the world’s third largest mobile handset manufacturer, has made the embarrassing admission that it has had to ban the use of one of its pivotal products – the camera phone – amid fears that it could be used for industrial espionage. Any Samsung employee found bringing their camera phone into its factories or offices will have the camera’s lens covered with a plastic sticker. It is not yet clear, however, as to how potential spies will be stopped from removing the sticker and taking photos anyway.
