Pan-European telecoms services provider Tele2 says it has launched its first GSM network in Russia in the Siberian city of Irkutsk. The company plans to invest between EUR50 million and EUR80 million in GSM networks this year, part of which will be used to upgrade its AMPS and D-AMPS analogue networks in the Russian federation.
