Telcos win 24% of new pay-TV subscribers

The impact of telcos on pay-TV markets varies dramatically by region. While telcos have only had a modest impact on the Asia-Pacific and Eastern European pay-TV markets, they account for more than a third of net new pay-TV subscribers in Latin America, and almost all net new subscribers in North America and Western Europe.
